Trauma-Informed Systems of Care

Every individual within an organization plays a role in creating a safe and secure environment for others within your organization. Often, we are not privy to the trauma or chronic stress others have experienced. This workshop focuses on a trauma-informed care framework that implements best practices and strategies specific to programs specific to your organizational needs and their families.

Re-traumatization occurs when our practices and strategies do not reflect an understanding of how traumatic experiences influence typical development, and we expect typical behavior and progress. Trauma-informed care assists us in implementing appropriate and effective practices that address trauma and support the people within organizations in progressing and learning.

PARTICIPANTS WILL…

Develop adaptive ways of addressing trauma across cultural differences.

Create effective and sustainable trauma-informed systems changes throughout the organization.
