What is Socio-Cultural Equity Dialogue Training?

Social-Cultural Equity Dialogue (ScED)

is a five-week program led by one of our trained consultants, that provides a unique learning opportunity for employees, communities, and organizations to engage on a range of identity topics including but not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender, class, sexuality, and faith. Dialogues are intergroup, gathering people from multiple backgrounds and identities for sustained, ongoing dialogue for two hours each week.

Goals of SED’s

• Foster intergroup community through a diversity of identities

• Explore personal experience and societal issues

• Provide tools for navigating differences in the workplace

• Gain new knowledge about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

• Engage across differences in perspective and identity

Who will lead this training?

WJ DevelopMental Consultants have been fully trained and certified under the guidance of Dr. Cheryl Williams-Jackson. Our lead trainers will be prepared with handouts and ready to answer all questions on the training designed for your organization.

This training is for you if you are looking to build and strengthen your organization’s trust around diversity and inclusion. SED is training based on dialogue and engagement. Participants will all engage in a range of identity topics, personal experiences, and societal issues.
